This page covers the website at thesolutionmatrix.com. Work we do under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not by anything here.

The site is operated by Solution Matrix LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (“Solution Matrix”, “we”).

What this site is, and is not

An account of who we are, what we do, and how we think about the work. It is published in good faith but it is information, not advice, and not an offer capable of acceptance.

Nothing here — including anything in our written pieces — is professional, technical, financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice about your circumstances, and it should not be relied on as though it were. ERP decisions turn on facts specific to a business, which a web page cannot know. Reading the site or sending us a message does not create a consulting or advisory relationship; that begins only when both of us sign something saying so.

Software changes, and Microsoft’s products and programs change often. What was true when a page was written may not be true when you read it. Any statement of what we intend or expect to do is a present intention, not a commitment.

Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, images, the logo, the layout, and the names we use for our methodology, its Tools and its Phases — belongs to us or is used with permission. You are welcome to read it, print it for your own use, and quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not republish it wholesale, present it as your own, or use our name, logo, or those methodology names to suggest an endorsement or association that does not exist.

Third-party names and marks, including Microsoft product names and those of our technology partners, belong to their respective owners and are used to identify those products and relationships.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site’s operation, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use this site. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Connecticut have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless a written agreement between us and a client provides otherwise.

Changes, and how to reach us

If this page changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects information already given to us, say so plainly rather than relying on you to notice a new date.
